"goal" jean satisfaction

Okay ladies... lets not lie about it.... We all have FAT jeans! The jeans we pull out when we just aren't feeling that great, were bloated, feeling gross, sick, or just want to feel comfortable!
Opposite of the fat jeans are "goal" jeans... those jeans that we hope to fit into again. It's nothing to be ashamed of- because we all have them!
The satisfaction we get from wriggling into that goal jean is basically the same as winning an Olympic gold medal, the feeling is priceless!
Anyone can say that size is just a number.... but until you put on that pair of size bigger jeans, or get to feel the excitement of wearing a size smaller than normal... you will understand that size is ANYTHING BUT just a number!
Recently Kim Kardashian was criticized for saying on her show that she wore a size 27 jeans.
In response to the criticism Kim and her sister Klohe created a YouTube video of Kim trying on different size jeans proving to the "haters" that she IS a size 27 (but according to her workout video "fit into your jeans by friday" I guess she could be a size 26 next week).
Kim Kardashian just goes to show you that you cannot judge someone's jean size on their physical appearance.....AND not all jeans are created equally! With so many brands and styles to choose from you very well may be 3 or 4 different sizes depending on the brand and the cut... making it SUPER important that you get out there and TRY on different styles, brands, washes and cuts before declaring your jean size!

Check out Kim and Klohe's video response:

your secret love affair...your jeans

"I'm like every other women: A closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear: So I wear jeans"
-Cameron Diaz

Blue jeans. We all have them, we all wear them, they are a staple in all of our closets whether we are male or female. We have different cuts, different washes, different lengths and different reasons to wear them. Blue jeans are without a doubt a staple for cultures globally, to be dressed up or dressed, down worn with heels, boots, flats or sneakers. Blue jeans transcend time, disregarding age, sex, and race.

This blue jean blog will focus on women and their jeans. With so many styles, cuts, washes and brand names to choose from.. how do we ever know what looks best on us? I worked at the Gap and Banana Republic for years, I have watched countless women have an unnatural attachment to an item of worn, ragged, faded blue jeans that they refuse to replace. I want this blog to reflect a womens love for that one favorite pair of jeans, and also help them to realize that there are millions of other jeans out there just waiting to become your new favorites.

Overall I want this blog to reflect the styles, cuts, and washes of new jeans, offering suggestions of what looks good on different body types, but also keeping with the theme of jeans being that go-to look for every women. We all have an unnatural unexplainable connection with our denim- I hope to convey some of these denim love stories through the creation of my blog.

I think a women that knows how amazing it feels to find a pair of jeans that fits you like a glove will understand and love this blog. My hope is that women that have struggled to find that perfect pair of jeans will find helpful suggestions so that they too can find their perfect pair of blue jeans!
